PLEXUS

Plexus is PLEXUSPLAY’s self-titled debut album, released under the artist name “Plexus” on June 1st, 2017. Recorded after his graduation from Oberlin conservatory, Plexus puts Matt’s jazz vibraphone chops on full display, and features fellow Oberlin graduates Giveton Gelin, David Diongue, & Elena Conn, as well as jazz vocalist/composer Sivan Arbel. It lays the foundation for much of PLEXUSPLAY’s later explorations in EDM production, incorporating synth textures & driving electronic drums alongside rich stacked vocals, danceable polyrhythms, & PLEXUSPLAY’s distinct blend of jazz harmonies.
